How it works
The more you play in our Poker Room, the better your chances to win free entry into each tournament, which could lead to winning the Jackpot Package, consisting of a $10,000 WSOP seat, airfare to Las Vegas & luxury accommodations.

Purchase or win a seat at the Carson Nugget Poker Room’s 2012 Sunday No Limit Texas Hold’em Tournament, according to eligibility requirements, as noted in the detailed rules, available in the Poker Room.

1. Top two tracked comp point players during each 2-week period: Be one of the top two players to accrue the most total tracked comp points during each respective every-other-week tournament qualifying period and receive a guaranteed/free seat at that qualifying period’s every-other-week tournament. The 1st place comp point player receives the initial buy-in free, plus an extra 500 tournament chip, and the 2nd place comp point player receives the initial buy-in for that respective tournament. 1st and 2nd comp point players for each respective tournament will be eligible to purchase one add-on for an extra 2,000 in starting chips, and both 1st and 2nd place winners will be allowed to purchase the maximum three (3) rebuys, as noted below.

2. Earn extra tournament chips for tracked play: During each two-week qualifying period, tracked Prospector Club players will receive: a 100 tournament chip for every 10 full hours of tracked play to that respective tournament. Each full hour of play per clock-in/clock-out time period will qualify toward the 10 full hours of play (i.e. 4 1/2 hours played from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. will count for 4 full hours of play and the 1/2 hour extra may not be combined with any other time period during the day or week). No extra tournament chips may be earned for the final (11th) tournament.

3. Top two tracked comp point players during the overall 5-month period: The top two Prospector Club players who accrue the most comp points for live play in our Poker Room during the 5-month qualifying period will automatically win one of the twenty-two June 24 final tournament seats.

TO QUALIFY FOR FREE ENTRY THROUGH TRACKED COMP POINTS: a participant must accumulate Prospector Card points while playing live Poker (tournament play does not qualify) in the Carson Nugget Poker Room during the qualifying period, as noted in detailed rules. In order to track points for free entry, a player must present their Prospectors Club card at start of any live game, and (if a joint account) the Poker player’s name must appear first on the account so the computer prints that name on the record as having been the actual player in the Poker Room.

STRICT SIGN UP RULES FOR EACH OF 1ST TEN TOURNAMENTS APPLY: on the Tuesday, immediately preceding that week’s Sunday tournament, at 9:30 a.m., according to the detailed rules available in the Poker Room.
